Virtual Speech Ballots Instructions:

a. Click here and download the 2024 Judge Instructions Master Document.

b. Cut and paste the first page of the document (the ratings guide) and put it in the box MESSAGE BENEATH THE SCORES for each event.

c. Post the appropriate rules for that specific event into the online ballots in the TEXT ON TOP OF BALLOTS space. Post the whole page (summary of rules, judging criteria, etc.).

Paper Speech Ballots Instructions:

Each speech ballot pack contains a rules/judge info cover-sheet, a guide sheet on how to assign ratings to ranks for judges, and 7 ballots. To personalize the ballots for your tournament, please edit the Header on page 3 — it will change the header on all subsequent pages. Then print and copy — collated, 1 staple — and you have your ballots ready to go for each room!

DEBATE BALLOTS:

Schools are encouraged to use the ballots (see links below) published by the National Speech and Debate Association. These can be easily printed for handwritten use. Tabroom defaults to these, but check the settings by following the KHSSL Tabroom for Tournaments Guide for the Debate Events to make sure.
